Capturing beauty has always been a challenge, especially when emotions felt in a moment do not translate through the lens of a camera. After many trips, I found myself disappointed, realizing that the photos I took didn’t match the intensity of the feelings I had experienced. But this realization led me to a turning point in my creative journey.

Rather than seeking beauty in far-off places, I began to rethink my approach. I turned my focus inward, starting with my own environment—my garden. Here, in the textures, the diversity, and the ever-present cycles of life and death, I discovered a deep connection and harmony that had gone unnoticed before. The beauty was not in the search but in the observation, in uncovering what had been overlooked.

My art now revolves around this philosophy of elevating the disregarded, finding beauty in the immediate and mundane. In my series, Botanical, I have not aimed to capture beauty as it appears, but to uncover the beauty hidden within, balancing the abstract with the familiar. It is an exploration of how the overlooked can be transformed into something remarkable, showing that beauty is everywhere, waiting to be revealed.
